Aggressive sustainability goals drive UCSD's development of alternative fuels, renewable energy sources, waste diversion, water conservation, green building strategies, and much more.

Carlsbad Gourmet has kindly provided us with their popular strawberry spread, which is made from strawberries picked locally in Carlsbad and contains half the sugar of most other jams, jellies, and preserves.

We'll have fresh strawberries on hand from the sustainability-oriented Terra Miguel Farm.

UCSD Catering will be providing coffee served in compostable paper and plastic cups. (Yes, compostable plastic made from corn!).
